Logan Paul just gave everyone a brutal look at the damage from his torn triceps injury, and it’s definitely not for the faint of heart.
Paul took to his Instagram Story and showed off the nasty aftermath of the injury. His triceps appeared badly discolored with blue and yellow bruising, making it clear just how rough the injury really was. Paul kept the caption simple while showing the grotesque-looking damage: “fml”
The injury happened during the closing moments of Paul’s WWE World Tag Team Title match at Saturday Night’s Main Event. While speaking on his vlog, Paul explained that Angelo Dawkins landed awkwardly on him near the end of the bout, causing his arm to get trapped underneath his body: “Dawkins. When Dawkins jumped on me. My arm got kind of caught here, like pinched.”
Paul then explained that he was positioned too far back while catching Dawkins, which caused the landing to go wrong. Instead of Dawkins rolling over him cleanly, Paul said the impact folded his body onto itself.
“I was too far back, so when I caught him, he didn’t like roll over me. He kind of landed on me and I folded onto myself.”
Paul previously confirmed on Instagram that he underwent surgery for the torn triceps and shared photos showing his stitches. He also revealed that he stayed awake during the procedure and wanted to feel it all: “Tore my tricep, got surgery while wide awake, told doc I wanna feel it all.” Doctors told Paul he could be facing a six-month recovery, but he immediately pushed back on that timeline and claimed he expects to return much sooner.
“They’re telling me 6 month recovery but I don’t believe them, I’ll be back in a couple weeks with some @drinkprime shake (32g protein). Good news I can still rip packs bc @ripit about to launch. Keep that title warm for me @wwe @austin_theory @paulheyman @bronbreakkerwwe. @bronsonishere let’s hang out.”
Michael Cole announced on the May 25 episode of Monday Night RAW from the Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio, that Paul tore his triceps at Saturday Night’s Main Event and would be out for several months.
Paul’s injury left Austin Theory without his usual tag team partner. That led Paul Heyman to state that Theory would defend the titles alongside Bron Breakker because The Vision was booked as champion and the titles were not limited to specific members.
Paul may be sidelined, but his latest injury photo makes it clear this is not some minor setback. The bruising looked rough, the surgery is already done, and now the big question is whether Logan Paul can actually beat the expected recovery timeline like he claims.
