Logan Paul is giving fans a very close look at life after tricep surgery. The WWE Superstar posted a new video showing off the bruising, stitches, therapy, and recovery routine from an injury that usually takes months to come back from.
Paul framed the video as “a day in the life of WWE’s most injured superstar,” and he did not hold back on the details. He started his day with his arm elevated to reduce swelling, then admitted that even basic things are a problem right now.
“Another day in the life of WWE’s most injured superstar. 8AM wake up with the arm elevated to reduce swelling. Right to a little pep talk from my wife. She gotta help me put on deodorant cause I can’t really do that anymore.”
Paul then showed fans the bruising from the surgery, which was clearly still nasty. He joked about the colors on his arm while going through the early stages of his recovery routine.
“Gotta unwrap to take a look at the bruising. Ooh, a little purple, a little yellow, not too bad.”
The video also showed Paul using ice, red light therapy, a pressure wrap, a brace, and hyperbaric treatment. He even joked about reading The Art of War while stuck in the chamber.
“15 minutes of ice, then 20 minutes of the red light pad and a brain helmet that makes me more of a genius. Pressure wrap goes back on and brace up to prepare for 90 minutes in the hyperbaric. Don’t worry, I got my hammer in case I need to bust out.”
Paul said he was told this type of injury can take around six months to recover from, but he made it clear he does not plan on accepting that timeline.
“They told me it takes six months to recover from this injury but I’m not buying it.”
The injury happened at Saturday Night’s Main Event in May when The Vision defended the WWE Tag Team Titles against The Street Profits. Paul has been keeping fans updated since the surgery, including showing the damage and documenting his day-to-day progress..
Paul’s absence has already forced a change in WWE’s tag team picture, with Bron Breakker stepping in to team with Austin Theory as interim WWE Tag Team Champion while Paul recovers. Paul also previously said he owed CM Punk an apology after mocking him for dealing with the same injury during their rivalry.
Even with the injury, Paul still found time to joke around about his normal influencer life, family time, and even betting on the Knicks. He said the night ended with a $52,000 win after New York pulled out a one-point victory.
“I got 30k on the Knicks tonight. Not going to lie, this started off pretty rough but the boys turned it around and clinched a one point victory that made me $52,000 because that is how you live.”
Logan Paul is clearly dealing with a rough recovery, but he is turning the whole thing into content while pushing to beat the expected timetable. Whether he actually gets back before six months remains to be seen, but he is not acting like someone ready to sit quietly on the sidelines.
