Logan Paul has been taking plenty of heat over his hair lately, but it turns out there’s actually a wrestling reason behind the look.

Paul spent part of his latest YouTube vlog getting roasted over his hair, with the WWE star even calling out people for pretending they liked it. Things got more interesting when he was asked whether he planned on keeping it that way. Logan was told they liked the longer look, but he wasn’t buying it.

“No, you don’t. You don’t have to lie.”

That’s when Logan explained that his hair isn’t just about appearance. According to Paul, having some length helps create more movement whenever he gets hit or thrown around inside the ring, which makes the impact look more violent on camera.

“The problem is, okay, so when in wrestling, the hair creates movement. So when I get hit or thrown or something, it looks aggressive.”

Logan wasn’t satisfied with simply explaining it either. He decided to prove his point by asking to be slapped in the face so the camera could catch the effect. After taking the shot, Logan pointed out the movement of his hair and said that was exactly why it works for wrestling.

“We should do this. I’ll run you through this. Slap right here. Right here. Do you understand me? Hit me in the face, bro. I am going to then hit you in the face.”

“So, chat, you see that? That hair flip helps… Wow, you’re right. See what I’m saying? It’s dramatic. Go again.”

Paul may keep getting roasted over the hairstyle, but he clearly sees some value in it once the bell rings. If the extra movement makes punches, throws and bumps look harder, Logan seems willing to deal with the jokes for now.

Do you think Logan Paul has a point about longer hair making wrestling moves look more dramatic, or should he just get the haircut everyone keeps giving him grief about? Let us know what you think in the comments.
