Logan Paul may be healing far faster than expected, but he’s still not willing to take unnecessary risks.
After revealing doctors believe he’s recovering months ahead of schedule from a torn triceps, Paul showed exactly how cautious he’s being. During Fanatics Fest, the WWE star backed out of throwing a full-power punch in the UFC boxing challenge after worrying he could end up injuring his healthy arm too. Paul initially joked about why he wasn’t eager to swing at full force.
“I already broken both of my hands on something like this.”
Rather than jump straight into the challenge, Paul tested the machine with two warm-up attempts using his healthy arm. His first punch registered 792, while a second open-palm strike scored 763. As the crowd waited for him to unleash one full-power shot, Paul suddenly stopped himself. He admitted the decision wasn’t about fear—it was about protecting his recovery. With one arm already sidelined, he wasn’t willing to risk losing the other.
“What I’m about to do hurt me, but I have to be responsible.”
Paul continued to hesitate before ultimately deciding it wasn’t worth it: “I can’t, bro. I can’t. I can’t hurt myself, bro. Get me outta here, bro.” Instead of taking another swing, Paul stepped away from the machine and spent the rest of the appearance signing cameras for fans.
The moment comes just after Paul shared an incredibly positive update on his torn triceps recovery. Speaking on his YouTube channel, he revealed he’s already out of his arm brace and doing far more than doctors initially expected.
Even with that encouraging progress, Paul’s decision at Fanatics Fest showed he isn’t letting the optimism cloud his judgment. With his WWE return still on the horizon, he chose to walk away rather than risk turning one injury into two.
