Lil Yachty just turned his beef with Baron Corbin into a full-blown diss track, and he didn’t exactly go easy on the WWE United States Champion.
Yachty appeared alongside Trick Williams on the September 4 episode of SmackDown, where WWE aired his new music video ahead of his match with Corbin at Sunday Night’s Main Event on September 6. And the entire song was basically one long verbal beatdown of Corbin. Yachty repeatedly clowned Corbin over his bald head, called him a “grandpa,” threatened to stomp him out, and even threw in a shot involving Corbin’s wife.
“Bald head buster When I catch you, you know I’m a beat you bald head boy When I catch you, you know I’m gonna treat you bald head dude When I catch you I’m stomping you out, bald head sucker I ain’t giving grandpa no more clout My name in your mouth so it’s time I’m washing it out Last five minutes. I’d rather do that with your spouse I’m gonna take up my belt show you who really the K I been working, working I’m going to whoop that I’m through the south Whoop it, bald head buster. When I catch it, you know I’mma beat you, bald head boy When I catch you now I’m going to treat you bald head dude When I catch you I’m stomping you out, bald head sucker. Yeah, subtle was not the goal here. The track comes after weeks of Yachty getting dragged deeper into Corbin’s rivalry with Trick Williams. Corbin’s issues with Trick eventually spilled over onto Yachty, including Corbin putting him through a table during their ongoing war.
Corbin later beat Trick to win the United States Championship, and Yachty eventually got some payback by helping lay Corbin out after one of his title defenses. That only made things worse.
Corbin demanded Yachty step into the ring with him, and WWE made the match official for Sunday Night’s Main Event in Atlanta. The stipulation gives Yachty an even bigger reason to survive: if he can last five minutes against Corbin, Trick Williams gets another shot at the United States Championship later that night.
So Yachty doesn’t even have to beat Corbin to ruin his night. He just has to stay alive for five minutes. Before that happens, though, Yachty made sure Corbin had something else to listen to — several minutes of insults about his head, his age and his personal life. Corbin wanted Lil Yachty in a WWE ring. He got a diss record first.
