Lexis King just reached a pretty huge milestone outside the NXT ring. The WWE star popped the question to former WWE talent Carolina Cruz, and her reaction made it pretty clear she wasn’t expecting it.
King shared videos of the proposal on his Instagram Story, where he grabbed a microphone and suddenly referred to Cruz as his “wife.” That immediately caught her off guard, but King had something much bigger planned.
He then dropped to one knee, pulled out a ring and asked Cruz if she wanted to marry him. Cruz looked completely stunned before jumping with excitement, yelling “yes” and immediately embracing King.
That officially makes King and Cruz engaged, adding a new chapter to a relationship they’ve regularly shared with fans online. The couple has never been shy about giving followers glimpses into their life together, so naturally, they made sure this moment was shared too.
Cruz previously spent time in WWE’s developmental system after signing with the company in 2022. She was released in 2023 without making her televised in-ring debut, while King has since established himself as a regular part of NXT.
There will be plenty of time for wedding plans later. For now, Lexis King managed to catch Cruz completely by surprise, got the answer he was hoping for and walked away with a fiancée.
