Kyle Fletcher gave fans a scare at the latest AEW Collision taping, but it sounds like he dodged anything serious.

Fletcher faced ELP during the July 2, 2026 Collision taping from Viejas Arena at Aztec Bowl in San Diego, and fans in the building started saying he looked hurt after the match. That was enough to get people worried fast, especially since Fletcher only recently returned from injury.

Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer later shut down the worst-case scenario and said Fletcher appears to be okay, stating that it was likely just dehydration and he wasn’t hurt.

“Although multiple fans reported tonight that Kyle Fletcher appeared to have been injured doing his match on Collision, we’ve been told he appears to be fine. And it was likely just dehydration. He was not hurt and he did not get a concussion, which I know fans were concerned that’s what happened, but I was told it was not that.“

That is a big relief for AEW, because Fletcher has a lot on his plate right now. He recently came back at Double or Nothing, worked the Steel Cage match at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, and is scheduled to face Konosuke Takeshita for the International Title on next Wednesday’s Dynamite.

So for now, it looks like this was more of a scare than a setback. Fletcher may have looked rough after Collision, but the word coming out is that he is fine and AEW’s plans for him are still moving forward.
