Kyle Fletcher and Bandido brought their AEW feud straight to San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, turning a panel appearance into a full-blown brawl that security had to shut down.
The trouble started when Fletcher confronted Brody King during the event. Bandido quickly stepped in, and it did not take long before he and Fletcher started throwing punches in front of the crowd. Security rushed in and pulled the two wrestlers apart before the fight could go any further.
The angle comes just days before Fletcher defends the AEW International Championship against Bandido at AEW Redemption on Sunday in Montreal.
Bandido already got the better of Fletcher on Dynamite, pinning the champion during a tag team match that saw Bandido and Brody King defeat Fletcher and Kazuchika Okada.
AEW has been busy throughout Comic-Con with new action figures, announcements and a panel featuring Tony Khan, but Fletcher and Bandido made sure their championship fight became the biggest scene of the day.
The AEW International Championship match already had plenty of heat, and now Fletcher and Bandido have added one final fight before they meet in Montreal.
