Morgan Wallen had some Olympic-level backup for his Pittsburgh concert.

On June 5, 2026, WWE legend and Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle walked out with Wallen for his concert in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Angle appeared on the big screen wearing his gold medal and an American flag-style jacket as the crowd watched the entrance play out.

The moment was a perfect fit for Pittsburgh. Angle is one of the most famous athletes to ever come out of the area, and the crowd clearly got a special hometown surprise when he showed up alongside Wallen.

Angle became a household name after winning Olympic gold in freestyle wrestling in 1996 before going on to become one of WWE’s biggest stars. He later became a WWE Hall of Famer and remains one of the most respected names in wrestling history.

Wallen has made big walkouts part of his concert experience, often bringing out athletes, celebrities, and major local names depending on the city. In Pittsburgh, few names hit harder than Kurt Angle.

It was a big crossover moment between country music and pro wrestling, and Angle looked right at home walking out in front of a packed stadium.
