Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods just dropped the biggest clue yet that their WWE chapter is over. The former New Day stars released the same animated video on July 29, and the message was not exactly subtle.
The video shows two unicorns chained inside a circus before finally breaking free. Once they escape, they charge past a top-hat-wearing ringmaster figure, a character some may view as a shot at the person who kept them trapped.
The two unicorns then pass another unicorn with a broken horn. That moment immediately stood out because it appears to represent Big E, who remains tied to WWE in an ambassador and panel role after a broken neck ended his in-ring run.
The free unicorns stop and look back at the injured one, but they keep moving. They leave the circus tent, hoofprints appear on the ground, and the final shot shows Woods and Kingston walking side-by-side as human figures.
The entire video plays like a clean break from WWE. The chains are gone, the circus is behind them, and the two men are walking into whatever comes next without Big E beside them.
Kingston and Woods released the video through their official social media accounts on the same day. Many have taken the timing as a sign that the non-compete periods attached to their WWE exits have ended, clearing the way for them to sign elsewhere.
What do you think the broken-horn unicorn and circus owner were meant to represent, and do you think Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods are heading to AEW? Leave your feedback in the comments.
