Kiera Hogan is getting closer to stepping back in the ring, and she wants fans to know she never said she was done with wrestling.
During her conversation on Hitting The Turnbuckle, Hogan talked about her current status, her recovery, and what she has planned next. She said she is getting back in the ring, getting her timing together, and already showing fans pieces of her next look. Hogan also pushed back on anyone who assumed she walked away from wrestling because she tried other opportunities outside the ring.
“I feel like when I went on the reality show, people assume that I was just done with wrestling. Did I ever say I was done? Did me saying I’m done with wrestling ever come out of my mouth? Did you ever read that somewhere?”
Hogan made it clear that taking other opportunities doesn’t mean wrestling is over for her. She said she is wanted in different spaces, and if people are offering her money, she isn’t turning it down.
“Just because I went and ventured out because, you know, that’s just what I do. I’m wanted in a lot of places and I got to take, if people are handing me the bag, I’m not going to say no. I’m sorry. That’s just what it is.”
Then Hogan gave the update fans were waiting for. She said she is close to being back, and the in-ring comeback could happen sooner than people think.
“I am pretty much cleared for wrestling. I’m just getting back in the ring and getting my stuff together. I’ve been posting my new gear, giving y’all some previews. So, you know, be on the lookout because I might be popping up in a ring sometime very soon in the near future.”
That’s not Hogan speaking like someone who is unsure about her future. That’s someone clearly getting ready for another run.
Earlier in the same conversation, Hogan admitted that being away from wrestling was strange because this was the longest break of her 11-year career. Still, the time away helped her miss the business again and get her fire back.
“This is the first time in my 11-year career that I have ever been out of wrestling this long. It has been crazy. I’m not used to it at all, but I have learned a lot and I’ve been able to watch a lot just being away from wrestling. But it’s also given me a chance to miss it.”
Hogan also said she had reached a point where wrestling no longer felt balanced for her, but now she’s ready to return with a different mindset.
“I felt like I was at a place in my career where I was just kind of stagnant. I wasn’t really happy. I wasn’t really fulfilled. But I feel like I miss it so much now that I can’t wait to get back to it.”
The message is pretty simple. Kiera Hogan is not retired, she is not done, and she sounds ready to remind people exactly what she can do.
With TNA, AEW, and the independent scene all part of her story, Hogan’s next landing spot is worth watching. She has the experience, she has the name, and now she says she is almost ready to get back to work.
