Kevin Owens was helped backstage following his match at WWE’s August 30 live event in North Charleston, South Carolina. Footage showed Owens limping as he made his way out of the arena.
Sports journalist Kevin Bilodeau captured the video at the North Charleston Coliseum & Performing Arts Center. Bilodeau described the situation as a possible knee injury, but WWE has not confirmed that Owens was injured.
“Kevin Owens had to be helped to the back after suffering an apparent knee injury at #WWECharleston.”
The footage only shows Owens receiving assistance while limping. It does not reveal what happened, why he needed help or whether he suffered an injury during the match.
Owens recently returned to WWE at SummerSlam after being out of action since early 2025 due to a neck injury and subsequent surgery. For now, Owens’ status remains unclear. The only confirmed detail is that he was limping and needed help getting backstage after the match.
