Kevin Nash is now the last man standing from the original three members of the NWO, and that reality clearly isn’t lost on him.
During a conversation with Inside The Ropes, Nash reflected on getting older and how many people from his wrestling career are no longer around. He pointed out that July marks 30 years since the NWO was born, but Scott Hall and Hulk Hogan are no longer here to share the milestone with him.
Nash said so many of the people involved in the stories he tells today are already gone.
“We sit here and we tell these stories, and like 80% of the people that I’m talking about aren’t here anymore.”
That led Nash directly into the upcoming NWO anniversary and the harsh reality surrounding the faction’s original lineup.
“July will be 30 years — the 30-year anniversary that the NWO was born. And of the original three, I’m the only one that’s alive.”
Scott Hall died in 2022, while Hulk Hogan died in 2025, leaving Nash as the only surviving member of the group that launched one of the biggest wrestling angles of the 1990s.
For Nash, the 30-year milestone isn’t just about celebrating the NWO’s impact on wrestling. It also serves as another reminder that the two men who stood alongside him when the group began are no longer here.
