Kendal Grey may still be sidelined with injury, but she hasn’t lost her sense of humor. The NXT star spotted an edited photo of herself making the rounds online, and her response was about as blunt as it gets.
A fan uploaded a heavily edited image of Grey on Twitter, exaggerating her backside well beyond reality. It didn’t take long for the NXT star to notice, and instead of getting upset, she decided to laugh it off.
“The edit on the ass is crazyyyyy..”
Grey’s reaction comes during what’s been a frustrating stretch away from the ring. Just last week, she revealed doctors still hadn’t cleared her to return, posting that they were “still not on my side” after another medical update.
She’s also continued appearing on NXT television despite being out of action. During the September 22 episode, WWE showed Grey working through rehabilitation sessions as she continues recovering from the vestibular issues and vertigo she suffered following her NXT Women’s Championship match against Kelani Jordan at Heatwave.
There’s still no timetable for when Grey will be back in the ring, but at least she’s finding reasons to smile while she’s on the sidelines. If anything, her latest social media exchange shows she’s not letting the injury—or a little Photoshop trolling—get under her skin.
