Kayla Braxton may be building a new life outside of WWE, but she made it clear the company hasn’t exactly shut the door behind her.

During an appearance on TMZ Sports’ Inside The Ring, Braxton opened up about her departure from WWE and revealed that Triple H personally told her she’d always have a place in the company if she ever wanted to come back.

Braxton explained that leaving WWE wasn’t about running away from wrestling. Instead, she wanted the opportunity to establish herself outside the company and prove she could succeed on her own. After discussing whether she might return to WWE one day, Braxton revealed what Triple H told her when she walked away.

“Well, when I left, Triple H had said that to me. He said, the door is always open here, which is such a nice thing to hear from your boy boss when you’re the one walking away.”

Braxton went on to explain that while she’s grateful for the opportunity, she doesn’t see herself returning in the exact same role she once had.

“I don’t think I ever see myself going back in the same capacity, but when I left I just hoped, like, I can go away, kind of create my own brand for myself, you know, it takes time because I don’t want to always be WWE’s Kayla Braxton because I had so much more I wanted to do.”

That doesn’t mean she’s ruling out WWE completely. In fact, Braxton joked about stepping into a very familiar role if she ever does make a comeback.

“Maybe I come one day and I take Paul’s job for like a month. And I’m now the GM or the manager for whoever he’s managing at the time. Who knows? But we’ll see.”

For now, Braxton is focused on growing her career as Kayla Becker, landing movie roles and launching new projects outside the wrestling world. But if Triple H has his way, it sounds like WWE would gladly welcome her back whenever she’s ready.

Only time will tell whether that return actually happens, but one thing is clear: Braxton didn’t burn any bridges on her way out.
