Kam Hendrix isn’t worried about the competition in the John Cena Classic. The WWE NXT star took to Twitter during the WWE RAW episode on November 2, 2026 and claimed he could beat anybody who enters John Cena’s upcoming tournament.

Cena announced that the John Cena Classic will take place on December 14 at Disney World in Orlando, Florida. He also unveiled a brand-new championship for the winner and revealed Cody Rhodes as the first invited participant. Hendrix clearly believes he could handle whoever WWE puts in front of him. Shortly after Cena’s announcement, he posted a message making his confidence pretty clear.

“I’d cook anybody in the John Cena Classic 🤣”

That’s a bold claim considering Cody Rhodes is already confirmed for the tournament. Hendrix didn’t single anybody out, instead suggesting he could take down the entire field.

WWE hasn’t announced Hendrix as a participant, so there’s no guarantee he’ll get the opportunity to back up his words. However, he’s already made it clear that he wants to be taken seriously as a potential competitor. Whether Hendrix actually gets an invitation remains to be seen, but he’s certainly putting himself out there before the tournament begins.

Do you think Kam Hendrix could back up his words against someone like Cody Rhodes? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
