Jonathan Coachman heard Bron Breakker call his Logan Paul story “clickbait,” and he wasn’t letting that one slide. Coachman says he stands by his sources, but he also wants to clear up exactly what he meant about Breakker and Paul.
While speaking on The Coach and Bro Show, Coachman responded after Breakker laughed off the story during Logan Paul’s latest vlog. However, Coachman says that doesn’t mean Breakker hates Paul.
“I’m not lying to you. I said that Bron wants out. He’s not a big fan of working with Logan Paul, and my sources are there. It’s okay. I’m not saying he hates working with Logan. I’m saying he doesn’t like it. That doesn’t mean he hates Logan Paul. It means he doesn’t like working with Logan.”
Coachman then brought up Paul’s entourage, saying that having so many people around wasn’t something he remembers from his own time in WWE.
“They’ve got a lot of people around. Vince, I was never there when someone had an entourage.”
Then came the bigger clarification. Coachman said his original point was really about Breakker not enjoying being around that entire group. If he made it sound like Breakker specifically had a personal problem with Paul, he acknowledged that he may have misspoken.
“By the way, I said this, look, two or three weeks ago. I said he doesn’t like being around that group. If I misspoke, that’s what I said. He doesn’t like being in that group and being around that.”
Coachman also made it clear this isn’t coming from some personal dislike of Paul: “I’m a Logan Paul fan.” What he definitely didn’t appreciate was Breakker calling the whole thing clickbait. Breakker was asked about the supposed beef during Paul’s August 26 vlog and laughed before dismissing it.
“Jesus Christ. It’s a new narrative every week, clickbait, clickbait.”
Coachman fired right back. He then pointed to his own track record, arguing that plenty of things he has previously said on the show have turned out to be accurate.
“He said I did it for clickbait. I don’t do anything for clickbait! I get someone to tell me something, and the person who told me… Vince, how many times have I said something on the show, and it’s right right away or correct a few times? Many times. Most of the time I have been dead on. We’re also not here to break news. We might do it once every two or three months, but I could care less about clickbait.”
So Coachman isn’t taking the story back. He’s saying the issue was never that Breakker hates Logan Paul personally—his claim is that Breakker simply isn’t a fan of working with and being around that group.
Breakker and Paul clearly think the whole thing is ridiculous. Coachman clearly thinks his sources are right. At this point, everybody has said their piece, and fans can decide which version they believe.
