WrestleMania 42 took over Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, and it did not disappoint. Fans had a lot of things that they needed to look out for, and that included John Cena.

Although the Never Seen 17 is retired, he graced the WrestleMania stage once again. The shoo-in WWE Hall of Famer’s music hit as he was introduced as the host for this year’s festivities.

John Cena came out in a suit, and he immediately had a little conversation with Stu the Cameraman. Then Cena walked out to the ring while waving to fans. After receiving a rousing welcome from fans, Cena spoke about the chaos that led to this year’s WrestleMania event, but he loves this moment the most, because the time to talk is up and the time to deliver is now.

He asked who would step up during the matches this weekend. Then John Cena welcomed us to WrestleMania, and a bunch of pyro went off in the arena.

John Cena wrestled his last match against GUNTHER. That submission at the end of his career marked the end of a legendary tenure in the squared circle. He promised that his days in the ring were done, but that didn’t include hosting.

WWE shocked fans when they announced that John Cena would host WrestleMania 42. That being said, seasoned fans should know that hosting duties rarely get physical, and sometimes they don’t even include both nights. It was still great to see John Cena, even if his days of taking bumps are over.

John Cena may be retired, but he will always be a part of WWE. The company will also use him in whatever way they can, and it didn’t take long for them to give the Greatest of all Time a call. Only time will tell how much more time fans have to wait before John Cena appears on WWE television again.
