John Cena had plenty of moments on camera at WrestleMania 42, but one of his wildest actions actually happened when the cameras weren’t rolling.

Cena hosted both nights of WrestleMania 42, marking his first WWE TV appearance since his retirement match back in December. He opened the show each night, welcomed the crowd, and returned later to announce attendance figures. He was also in the ring on Night One when Bianca Belair revealed her pregnancy, and on Night Two when Danhausen created chaos during his surprise segment. But another moment involving Cena didn’t air on television.

While at ringside during WrestleMania weekend, Cena was encouraged by San Francisco 49ers tight end George Kittle, who had been chugging beers throughout the event. Off-camera, Cena joined in and chugged a beer himself, giving fans in attendance a moment that never made the broadcast.

It added to Cena’s return weekend, especially as he leaned into the celebration atmosphere while hosting both nights of WWE’s biggest show of the year.

Do you think WWE should have aired John Cena chugging the beer on the broadcast, or was it better left as a live crowd-only moment? Let us know in the comments.
