Joe Hendry won’t be popping up on WWE’s UK tour just yet since he’s been gone from TV— and he’s blaming Austin Theory.

Hendry has been missing from WWE television since the May 25 episode of RAW, where he roasted Logan Paul in the ring before Theory jumped him from behind with a steel chair. Theory didn’t stop at one shot either, laying Hendry out while officials rushed in to check on him.

Now Hendry is finally addressing where he’s been. While speaking to the Toronto Sun, Hendry was introduced as someone fans could see on RAW and as part of WWE’s upcoming UK tour. Hendry quickly corrected that and said he’s still healing up from Theory’s attack.

“Hey, how are you? I have to say, you said I’d be part of the UK tour, but right now I am healing up, my friend. I was attacked by Austin Theory, so you know, it is what it is.”

So, WWE is clearly keeping Hendry’s absence tied directly to the Theory angle. Hendry hasn’t been back on TV since that chair attack, and now he’s making it clear he isn’t ready for the UK tour either. Bottom line, Joe Hendry may still be believed in by the fans, but Austin Theory’s chair attack has him sidelined for now.
