Jim Ross had fans doing a double take after he posted what looked like a private text message straight to X.
The WWE Hall of Famer sent out a random message on July 5, 2026, asking someone to come check on his electrical problems. The only issue is that he posted it publicly for everyone to see.
“Can you ease by here to check on my electric issues? Thanks”
That was all it took for fans to jump in the replies. Some were confused, some tried to help, and others just roasted JR for turning his timeline into a text thread. One fan asked if Ross was still in Jacksonville Beach.
“sure, you still in Jax beach?”
Another fan played along, but needed one key detail first.
“I’ll see what I can do but I need an address.”
Someone else joked that JR had accidentally opened a customer service chat. Another fan said what everyone was thinking.
“Jim has entered the live agent support chat”
“This isn’t your text messages JR”
The jokes kept coming, with one fan acting like help was already on the way. Another fan dropped a classic JR-style joke in the replies.
“Yeah Jimmy be over in a bit”
“The issues are in the tissues”
This was not some huge scandal. It just looked like Jim Ross meant to text somebody and accidentally posted it to the whole world instead. Wrestling fans caught it fast, and they had a field day. Hopefully, JR got his electric issues fixed, because the internet definitely handled the comedy part.
What do you think happened here? Did Jim Ross mean to tweet that, or was it clearly meant to be a text? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comments section below.
