Jim Cornette didn’t need many words to react to the massive fire burning near Wembley Stadium just two days before AEW All In. He saw the footage and immediately turned it into a joke about AEW’s pyro.

Jim Cornette took to Twitter after video of the huge blaze began circulating and joked that AEW was simply getting an early start on preparations for Sunday by testing out their pyro.

“The @AEW crew testing Sunday’s pyro:”

The joke comes as firefighters battle a major fire at an industrial estate on Hannah Close in Neasden, less than a mile from Wembley Stadium. Around 125 firefighters and 20 fire engines were sent to the scene after the London Fire Brigade received more than 70 calls about the blaze.

The huge amount of smoke has also caused problems around the area. Metropolitan and Jubilee line services were impacted, which is particularly notable with thousands of wrestling fans preparing to travel to Wembley this weekend.

AEW All In is scheduled for August 30 at Wembley Stadium, but the fire itself is not at the stadium. There is also currently no indication that All In has been cancelled, postponed or otherwise affected. So while the situation near Wembley is obviously serious, Cornette couldn’t resist getting his shot in at AEW. With All In only two days away, apparently all that smoke looked like one very ambitious pyro test to him.
