Jey Uso came up short at WWE Night of Champions, but he is not exactly crying in the corner over it.
After losing to Oba Femi in the 2026 King of the Ring finals at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Jey took to his Instagram Story and reacted in the most Jey Uso way possible. He gave Oba his respect, but also made it clear he still has plenty of smoke left for everyone else.
“yall mfs lucky. Respect Oba. Still beat yo ass in spades.”
The loss was a tough one for Jey, especially after he fought through a loaded tournament field to reach the finals. He advanced by beating LA Knight, Finn Bálor, and Royce Keys before taking out Je’Von Evans in the semifinals, only to run into The Ruler when the crown was on the line.
Oba’s path was no joke either. He defeated Penta, Solo Sikoa, and Carmelo Hayes in his first-round Fatal 4-Way before beating Dominik Mysterio in the semifinals. Then at Night of Champions, he survived Jey’s Uso Splashes and eventually put him away with Fall From Grace to become the 25th King of the Ring.
Now Oba is heading to SummerSlam with a world title shot waiting for him, while Jey is left to regroup after missing out on the crown. Still, based on his Instagram message, Jey is not acting like a man who feels finished. He tipped his cap to Oba, but everyone else might want to stay out of his way.
