Je’Von Evans is officially heading to Money in the Bank after surviving a chaotic qualifying match during the WWE RAW episode for September 14, 2026. Evans defeated Austin Theory and Big Cass in Mexico City, overcoming plenty of punishment before catching fire when it mattered most.
The match turned into a mess almost immediately, with Theory trying to convince Evans to team up against the much larger Cass before quickly turning on him. That strategy didn’t last long, as all three men started throwing everything they had at each other inside and outside the ring.
Evans spent much of the match taking chances, including a suicide dive that sent Cass into the announce table and another dive onto Theory. Cass repeatedly used his size to shut Evans down, at one point catching him in mid-air and chokeslamming him into Theory.
Theory nearly stole the momentum after hitting Cass with Three Seconds Around the World, but Evans immediately followed with a frog splash. The action kept breaking down from there, with Maxxine Dupri even getting involved by pulling Theory out of the ring to save him from Cass. Cass appeared to have Evans in serious trouble late in the match after chokeslamming him onto the apron. Theory then jumped back into the fight, but Evans found the opening he needed.
After missing his first attempt at the double-jump cutter, Evans came right back and nailed it on the second try before getting the three-count. Je’Von Evans is now officially qualified for the Money in the Bank ladder match, giving the rising WWE star one of the biggest opportunities of his career.
Evans had to survive Big Cass’ power, Theory trying to steal the match and several brutal spots just to get there, but he walked out of Mexico City with exactly what he came for — a shot at the briefcase.
