Jasmin St. Claire just took the Kayla Braxton creepy fan conversation to a much darker place.
Braxton recently spoke out about WWE fans waiting around airports, baggage claim, hotels, and other places where talent should not have to deal with autograph hunters or people following them around. She said there were times during her WWE run when she felt unsafe, especially when fans showed up early in the morning with stacks of photos to sign. Jasmin St. Claire saw the story and made it clear she does not think this is some new problem.
“That’s been going on for ages… What rock has she been living under?”
Then Jasmin dropped a much scarier story from her own experience. She said a fan once stood outside her hotel room waving a gun during an appearance.
“Some jackass was waving a gun outside of my hotel room (I was on the first floor) at an appearance a few yrs ago.. never stopped me from doing more appearances.”
That is a whole different level from fans waiting at baggage claim. Braxton was talking about fans crossing boundaries and making talent feel unsafe. Jasmin basically said that kind of behavior has been around forever, then backed it up with a story about someone allegedly showing up outside her hotel room with a weapon.
The scary part is that Jasmin said it still did not stop her from doing appearances. That gives her response a very old-school wrestling edge. She is not saying creepy fan behavior is acceptable, but she is definitely saying it has been part of the business for a long time.
