On May 30, 2026, Cargill took to Twitter and revealed that her official fan account, @cargillcartel, had been flagged for impersonation. The problem, according to Cargill, is that the account was not trying to fake being her at all. She said it was clearly marked as a fan account and used as a direct way to connect with her fanbase. Cargill called out X and asked why her page was hit while other fake accounts have been allowed to remain active for years.
“X thinks my team & I are impersonating myself on my official fan account, @cargillcartel due to false reports. While I am flattered they’re 100s of fake pages that aren’t afflicted and have been around for years. how can we fix this? This account has become a key way in how I engage with my fanbase, All exclusive content (pictures and videos) is provided by me. @Support @nikitabier”
That @cargillcartel had over 2,100 followers before it was suspended. The page was listed as “Official Cargill Cartel” and clearly labeled as a fan account.
The situation is especially frustrating for Cargill because she says the account was not just a random fan page. It was a team-run account built around her fan community, with exclusive photos and videos coming directly from her.
For now, the account appears to remain suspended, though Cargill publicly tagged X Support in hopes of getting the issue fixed.
