Anna Jay tried to shut down rumors about her AEW future, but things got real edgy fast when her real-life boyfriend Jack Perry jumped into her Twitch stream and fired off an NSFW shot that instantly changed the mood.
Jay went live to clear up the growing noise about her contract and future. She told fans straight up that most of what people have been seeing online isn’t true and that the situation has been blown way out of proportion. She started by telling viewers that the chatter spreading across social media didn’t match reality.
“It’s not a big deal, but just a lot of stuff going on online that you guys have been seeing. A lot of it is not true.”
Jay then explained that the information may have come from someone she used to work with, but who hasn’t been part of her team for months.
“I guess allegedly there was. The source was someone I used to work with and he no longer is working for me as of a few months ago. So I don't know exactly if that's true or not, but it apparently came from him.”
She made it clear that only one part of the rumors is actually real — her contract is coming up — and everything else is nonsense.
“The only thing out of everything that's been posted that's true is just that my contract is coming up, but that is it. That's it. Not a big deal.”
Jay didn’t sugarcoat the rest of the speculation either.
“Yeah, that's it. I mean, everything else that you guys have seen, it's pretty much bs.”
That’s when things took a sharp turn. Out of nowhere, Jack Perry — Jay’s boyfriend — jumped in, flipped of the camera and aimed straight at Sean Ross Sapp, the journalist tied to the original story. What followed was blunt, loud, and impossible to ignore.
“Well, in other words, Sean Ross Sapp, f** you.”*
Jay immediately tried to shut it down before things got worse, saying, “No, Jack.” But by then, the moment had already landed. Jack followed up with, “Get a real job!”
What started as Jay calmly clearing up rumors turned into a heated, personal moment once Perry stepped in. Jay is still scheduled to return on the May 2 episode of AEW Collision, where she’ll challenge Willow Nightingale for the TBS Championship. Now, with her contract timeline confirmed and Perry throwing gasoline on the situation, the spotlight just got even hotter.
