J-Rod is officially headed to Minneapolis for a WWE tryout during SummerSlam weekend.
The rising wrestling prospect confirmed the news on Instagram on July 21, 2026, sharing her official invitation and keeping the caption simple.
“Let’s go.”
WWE is set to hold its latest round of tryouts in Minneapolis around SummerSlam, which takes place on August 1 and August 2. J-Rod will be among the prospects stepping in front of WWE officials with a chance to earn a spot in the company.
The timing couldn’t be better for J-Rod, who recently made it crystal clear that WWE is where she wants to end up. During an appearance on Off The Rails with Jasmine St. Clair, J-Rod said she would consider an AEW offer, but admitted her heart has always been with WWE.
“If AEW offered me a contract and different things, maybe, but really, my heart is—I’m a WWE girly.”
She also explained that she wanted to build her name before walking through WWE’s doors. J-Rod pointed to Jade Cargill, Jordynne Grace and Stephanie Vaquer as examples of wrestlers who arrived with value already attached to their names.
“I want to come in with a name. You see people like Jade Cargill, Jordynne Grace and Stephanie Vaquer—people who have been established, and now they got signed and they’re already in main events, already on SmackDown and RAW.”
Now J-Rod is set to get her opportunity during one of WWE’s biggest weekends of the year.
A tryout doesn’t guarantee a contract, but J-Rod has officially been invited into the room. All that’s left is for her to show WWE why she belongs on the roster.
