Indi Hartwell is seeing a big difference between WWE and TNA, and it starts with the people in the locker room.
During an interview with Dom D’Angelo, Hartwell was asked how her first year in TNA has gone. She said the experience has been good, but also very different from what she was used to in WWE and NXT. Hartwell explained that TNA’s locker room has a different feel because the talent there all come from wrestling backgrounds.
“TNA is a different environment to what I’m used to. You know, in NXT and WWE, there are people that are brought in that don’t come from wrestling.”
She said that is not really the case in TNA, where the roster is made up of people who came from the independent scene, WWE, or other wrestling backgrounds.
“Whereas at TNA, everyone comes from wrestling. Everyone either comes from the indies or from WWE like myself.”
Hartwell also said one of the best parts of joining TNA has been reconnecting with women she already knew while also getting the chance to work with new talent. She summed up her TNA experience so far as something that has been refreshing and different from what she knew before.
“It’s been cool getting to reconnect with women in the locker room that I worked with in the past and also getting to work with newer women that I’ve never worked with before.”
“So yeah, it’s been it’s been really cool.”
Indi Hartwell’s move to TNA has given her a new locker room, new opponents, and a very different wrestling atmosphere. After years in WWE’s system, she seems to appreciate being around a roster full of people who already came up through wrestling.
