Andrade El Idolo’s ringside routine is still going strong, and AEW just added another name to the growing list of indie wrestlers getting caught up in it.
During the July 2 edition of AEW Collision, Andrade once again made his way over to a woman at ringside during his match. The two leaned into the moment as she snapped a selfie with him before flashing a pair of finger guns, continuing the now-familiar bit that has become part of Andrade’s presentation on AEW television.
After the show, the mystery woman was identified as independent wrestler Johnnie Robbie. Robbie has competed for several promotions, including New Texas Pro, West Coast Pro, Pro Wrestling NOAH, Marvelous, and more, making her the latest indie talent to become part of Andrade’s ringside interactions.
This has become a recurring theme for Andrade over the past few months. Emily Jaye was identified after her appearance on the June 3 episode of Dynamite, while Amaris Blair was revealed as the woman from the June 17 episode. Before them, Tiara James, Vile, Selena Hekate, and Rebel Kel were all involved in similar moments with Andrade at ringside.
At this point, it is pretty clear AEW is making this part of Andrade’s character. Every few weeks, he finds a different woman in the crowd, the cameras catch the interaction, and fans immediately start trying to figure out who she is. This time, it was Johnnie Robbie adding her name to the list.
