Andrade El Idolo apparently isn’t giving up his new favorite ringside routine anytime soon. During AEW WrestleDream, Andrade once again found a woman in the crowd, stopped for a selfie and even planted a kiss on her cheek before getting back to business.
Naturally, it didn’t take long for fans to start wondering who Andrade had found this time. After the pay-per-view, the mystery was solved when independent wrestler Madisyn Maxxwell took to her Instagram Story and uploaded a photo of herself with Andrade, confirming that she was the woman involved in the ringside moment.
Maxxwell isn’t just a random fan AEW happened to put in the front row either. She’s an active independent wrestler who has competed for promotions including LPW, WOW, CCW and UFW, along with several other companies on the indie scene.
This is becoming quite the habit for Andrade. Just days earlier on the October 14 episode of Dynamite, he stopped in the middle of his tag team match with Will Ospreay to take a selfie with another woman sitting at ringside.
Ospreay wasn’t exactly impressed with his partner’s priorities that night. He scolded Andrade and tried to get him focused on their match against Tommaso Ciampa and Samoa Joe, but the ringside selfie ended up getting plenty of attention anyway.
That woman was later identified as independent wrestler Kelly Madan, who has previous WWE television experience and has also worked for promotions including Outlaw Wrestling, ACW, NWA Powerrr, NEW and Warrior Pro Wrestling.
Andrade was already doing this before the Madan interaction too. At AEW Grand Slam France, he approached a woman in the crowd, took a selfie and received a kiss on the cheek before returning to his match against Michael Oku. She was later identified as Instagram personality bad.oce, who is known around the French wrestling scene.
This time Andrade decided to switch things up by being the one handing out the kiss, but the routine remained pretty much the same. Three different shows have now produced three ringside interactions, and Madisyn Maxxwell is officially the latest woman to get caught up in Andrade’s increasingly familiar act.
