The woman who sprayed Trick Williams during this week’s SmackDown has now been identified — and she’s not just a random extra.
During the April 24 episode of SmackDown at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas, Trick Williams was shown on his way to the ring alongside Lil Yachty and the Gingerbread Man ahead of his United States Championship celebration. But right before he made his entrance, an interaction with a woman on-screen caught viewers off guard—and quickly started making rounds online. As she sprayed him, Williams delivered a line that stood out instantly: “Above the belt, below the chain.”
Now, the identity of that woman has been revealed. She is independent wrestler Alejandra “La Leona” Quintanilla. Quintanilla, who has worked across multiple promotions including AEW, ROH, and regularly competes in CMLL, acknowledged the moment on Twitter shortly after the show aired.
“Let’s talk about it!”
This all took place just minutes before the segment shifted into chaos, as Sami Zayn later revealed himself as the Gingerbread Man and attacked Trick Williams during the in-ring celebration.
With the identity now confirmed, what looked like a small detail during the show has turned into a talking point coming out of SmackDown—especially with fans recognizing Quintanilla’s work outside WWE.
Do you think WWE should feature more independent wrestlers like Alejandra Quintanilla in on-screen roles, or keep these appearances limited to quick moments like this? Share your thoughts.
