Andrade El Idolo had some extra company when he walked out for AEW Collision, and one of the women who joined him has now stepped forward. The unexpected appearance caught some attention during the September 5 show, and fans no longer have to wonder about at least one of the women involved.
Before Andrade defended the AEW National Championship against Gabe Kidd, he made his entrance with two women accompanying him. Neither was identified on the broadcast, leaving their identities unclear once the show was over.
That changed afterwards when independent wrestler Amaris Blair took to Twitter and revealed that she was one of the women in Andrade’s entrance on the show. She had a pretty playful way of confirming it too.

Blair is based in Louisiana and has been working across the independent wrestling scene. She has competed for promotions including AFPW and New Texas Pro, among others, before getting the chance to appear as part of Andrade’s presentation on AEW television.
There’s currently no indication that Blair has signed with AEW or that her appearance was anything more than part of Andrade’s entrance. Still, getting featured alongside one of the company’s champions gave her some valuable television exposure.
Andrade had plenty going on once the bell rang too. He successfully defended the AEW National Championship against Gabe Kidd before addressing the World Championship opportunity he earned at All In: London.
Andrade won the Men’s Casino Gauntlet at Wembley Stadium on August 30 after entering from the No. 1 position, earning himself a guaranteed AEW World Championship match. He revealed on Collision that he isn’t planning to use that opportunity immediately and instead wants to continue defending the National Championship until the timing feels right.
Blair’s involvement was a much smaller part of Andrade’s night, but it still got people wondering who AEW had brought out with him. One of those mysteries has now been solved, while whether Blair gets another opportunity with the company remains to be seen.
