WWE’s newest ring name mystery didn’t stay quiet for long, because the identity behind Milos Jovik has now been revealed.

According to a report by PWInsider, the name Milos Jovik has been assigned to former MMA fighter Dusan Novakovic, a Serbian prospect who signed a WWE developmental deal in October 2025.

“Last week, WWE filed a trademark for a new ring name ‘Milos Jovik.’ PWInsider.com is told the ring name has been assigned to former MMA fighter Dusan Novakovic from Serbia, who was signed to a developmental deal in October 2025.”

That means WWE is already putting a new identity on Novakovic as he works his way through the Performance Center system. It also clears up one more name from WWE’s recent trademark batch after Vanta The Unknown was tied to Jessica Bogdanov and Kylee Quinn was matched to Meghan Walker.

WWE’s filing for Milos Jovik used the company’s usual sports entertainment language, covering wrestling performances, broadcast media, online services, fan club content, newsletters, blogs, and wrestling information.

“Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service.

Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services.”

Novakovic now joins the list of developmental names getting packaged for NXT’s future. With his MMA background and Serbian roots, WWE clearly has something to build from if they decide to lean into that fighter presentation.

There’s no official word yet on when Milos Jovik will appear on NXT television, but the name is no longer just paperwork. WWE filed it, and now it reportedly belongs to one of their newer Performance Center signings.

Do you think Milos Jovik is a strong WWE ring name for Dusan Novakovic, or should WWE have gone with something different? Drop your thoughts in the comments below.
