Hulk Hogan is getting the full Florida treatment this weekend—Hooters wings, cold beer and enough “brother” energy to shake Tampa Bay. Nick Hogan announced on Instagram July 27 that select Hooters locations will celebrate National Hulk Hogan Day on Saturday, August 1.
The event is being pushed by Real American Beer and Hooters, two brands closely tied to Hogan’s larger-than-life image. Fans are being told to show up, crack open a beer and celebrate the Hulkster at three participating restaurants in Tampa, Brandon and Clearwater.
The announcement laid out the locations and made it clear this is not some quiet tribute tucked into the corner of the restaurant.
“Celebrate National Hulk Hogan Day with us at Hooters! Join us this Saturday, August 1, at one of these participating locations: Tampa on Hillsborough Avenue, Brandon on Adamo Drive, and Clearwater—the original on Gulf to Bay.”
“Grab a Real American Beer and celebrate with us. See you there, brother.”
The promotional graphic puts Hogan front and center next to a can of Real American Beer Light, but fans immediately noticed something missing—the Hulkster’s face is no longer on the can. That decision quickly became its own fight in the comments. One fan demanded the old branding return.
“Please put Hulkster back on the can!”
Another said removing Hogan from the packaging stripped away the product’s identity.
“Why take the Hulk branding off? It looks like Natural Light.”
Whatever is happening with the beer can, Hogan’s image will be impossible to avoid at Hooters on August 1. The celebration is leaning hard into Florida, beer and wrestling nostalgia, giving fans another chance to toast one of the biggest names the business has ever produced.
