Missy Beefcake is calling bullshit on the claim that Hulk Hogan and Brutus Beefcake had a sexual relationship—and she says she knows enough about her husband’s private life to know it never happened.
While speaking to Monte & The Pharaoh, Missy was asked about allegations connected to Linda Hogan’s book, which claimed Hogan and Brutus had engaged in sexual activity. Missy didn’t hesitate. She said her knowledge of Brutus and the secrets surrounding his life left no doubt in her mind.
“Knowing my husband and knowing the depths of shit I know, it didn’t happen.”
The situation did not end with the accusation. Missy claimed Hogan told Brutus that his attorneys would handle legal action against Linda for both men. According to Missy, Hogan made it sound like Brutus was fully covered and that their lawsuits would move forward together.
“He said, ‘Brother, you’re involved in the lawsuit too. This is what’s going to happen: My attorneys are going to take care of the lawsuit. I’m suing Linda, you’re suing Linda. It’s going down.’”
Missy said she and Brutus were then placed in contact with attorneys who appeared to be preparing the case. That plan allegedly fell apart once Hogan settled his own dispute with Linda. She admitted she did not know the terms of Hogan’s settlement, but claimed Brutus was left hanging once Hogan’s legal battle was finished.
“We were in contact with attorneys who were filing the lawsuit. Then, all of a sudden, Hogan settled his lawsuit with Linda. I don’t know what the terms were.”
According to Missy, Brutus tried to find out what was happening with his case and was told the lawyers were done with the entire situation.
“Brutus was like, ‘Hey, what about my lawsuit?’ And they were like, ‘Nah, we’re not moving forward with that. We’re all set.’”
Missy believes Hogan may have protected himself by dropping the issue involving Brutus as part of his own settlement with Linda. She made it clear that was her personal take on what happened.
“My take is that they were like, ‘Listen, Linda. Settle the lawsuit, we’ll drop the Beefcake situation, and it’ll all be done.’”
Missy then took a direct shot at the way Hogan allegedly treated Brutus throughout their friendship.
“To me, that is what Hogan has always done with Brutus.”
She also pushed back against the old narrative that Brutus Beefcake only had a successful wrestling career because he was friends with Hulk Hogan. In Missy’s version of history, Brutus played a major part in helping Hogan become the star fans remember.
“People say Brutus rode Hogan’s coattails, but my take is that without Brutus Beefcake, there really wouldn’t be any Hulk Hogan. That’s the truth.”
Missy’s denial was blunt, but her bigger issue appeared to be how Brutus was treated once Hogan’s own legal problems were resolved. She believes Brutus was promised protection, pulled into the fight and then abandoned once Hogan no longer needed the case.
