Homicide apparently wasn’t ready to stay retired forever. Nearly 18 months after health issues brought his wrestling career to an end, the former ROH World Champion showed up at PRODUCE WRESTLING and went straight back to causing trouble.
Homicide made his surprise appearance during the promotion’s September 14 event, walking out to a big reaction with a sharp object already in his hand. Once he reached the ring, it became obvious he wasn’t there just to soak in the applause.
He immediately started cleaning house. Homicide went after multiple wrestlers with punches, kicks and headlocks before putting the object he brought with him to use. One after another, the wrestlers in the ring went down as Homicide took over the entire scene.
That’s a pretty dramatic change from where things stood in March 2025. Homicide’s final match took place at Outlaw Wrestling in Brooklyn, where he teamed with Bull James against Mike Santana and Afa Jr. He personally chose the match as his farewell and ended the night by hitting Afa Jr. with an Ace Crusher for the victory.
The retirement came under serious circumstances. Homicide revealed at the time that doctors had discovered a cyst in his brain, while years of hard hits and travel had taken their toll.
“Doctors found a cyst in my brain. My vision, speech are bad [because of the] hard hits, getting knocked out, and then hopping on a plane to travel. I want people to party and smile—except for Afa Jr.”
Now the Latin Terror has unexpectedly found his way back between the ropes. There’s no word yet on whether PRODUCE WRESTLING was a one-off appearance or the beginning of an actual comeback, but this definitely wasn’t Homicide standing on the stage and waving goodbye. He came armed, jumped into the fight and left everyone wondering whether retirement just ended.
