Shinsuke Nakamura’s mystery partner is officially no longer a mystery, because Hiromu Takahashi made his WWE debut during the August 21 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

Nakamura appeared during the show and reminded the MFTs that he had already warned them about what was coming. That warning finally paid off when former New Japan Pro Wrestling star Hiromu Takahashi appeared and revealed himself as KYOKI.

Takahashi introduced himself as someone who has fought all over the world and has now arrived in WWE. He made it clear that he isn’t interested in backing down from anybody and plans to fight anyone put in front of him. The stronger the competition gets, the more fun Takahashi said he plans to have. Nakamura then made his own mindset clear, explaining that he doesn’t fear chaos — he enjoys it.

The debut confirms the identity that had been teased following the August 14 episode of SmackDown. After Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga captured the WWE Tag Team Championship, Nakamura appeared in an off-air promo and warned the MFTs that his incoming partner was experienced, vicious and deadly.
