Matt and Jeff Hardy have signed a ton of wild stuff over the years, but one fan took things to another level with a request that even had TNA officials doing a double take.
Speaking with TV Insider, The Hardys were asked about the strangest autograph requests they’ve ever received. Matt Hardy did not have to think too hard, because one TNA-era fan apparently wanted the brothers to sign her butt cheeks so she could make the whole thing permanent with tattoos. Matt said the request was so out there that people in TNA were not even sure if they should let it happen.
“There was one we signed that the people at TNA weren’t sure they should let us do it or not. There was a female who asked if she could pull her pants down so we could sign her butt. She wanted her ass cheeks signed. She wanted autographs on her asscheeks to get them tattooed, which is pretty unique. That’s something we don’t usually do a lot.”
That is not exactly your standard 8×10 signing. Matt then joked that if fans are going to start asking for that kind of autograph, wrestlers may need to charge a little more for the trouble.
“Yes, that’s definitely a premium autograph.”
Jeff Hardy then jumped in with the kicker, because apparently this was not a one-signature job.
“It was one on each cheek as well.”
The Hardys have been around long enough to see every kind of fan interaction possible, from packed arenas to convention tables to meet-and-greets all over the world. Still, asking Matt and Jeff Hardy to sign both butt cheeks so the autographs could be tattooed forever is the kind of request that does not get forgotten.
The Hardys have built their careers on crazy moments, but this fan may have handed them one of the strangest autograph stories they will ever tell. At least she knew exactly what she wanted, and apparently, she picked the right tag team for the job.
