AEW World Champion Hangman Adam Page just proved he’s a man of the people—again. A fan who had their “ICE Fears Hangman” sign taken away during an AEW Dynamite broadcast last month ended up getting a personal surprise from the cowboy himself.
During the October 1, 2025 edition of Dynamite, the fan held up the now-viral sign referencing Page’s public criticism of ICE commercials airing during AEW programming. That same night, security confiscated the sign, which was visible briefly on-screen before being removed. Footage of the moment circulated online, gaining traction across Reddit and Threads.

But that wasn’t the end of the story. The fan later revealed on Threads that Page saw what happened—and responded by sending a personal package of autographed t-shirts, completely unprompted.
“Last month I went to AEW and one of my signs got confiscated by security and ruined my night. Little did I know it would make the rounds online and catch the attention of the AEW World Heavyweight Champion Hangman Adam Page. Who personally sent me these autographed t-shirts. This is the coolest thing ever, a gift from the world’s heavyweight champion, who turned a negative into the ultimate positive. Hangman is now officially my favorite wrestler ever. Definitely some cowboy sht.”*
Page previously called out the repeated ICE recruitment ads during Dynamite broadcasts and urged fans to send direct complaints to TBS and Warner Bros Discovery. The situation sparked conversation across wrestling Twitter and beyond—but Page’s follow-up with the fan took it to another level.
In a business where fan signs get taken away more often than they get attention, Hangman Page went out of his way to make one fan feel seen. And it just might be one of the most genuine moments of 2025 so far.
What do you think of Hangman Page stepping in like this? Should more wrestlers respond when fans get silenced at shows? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
