Gabe Kidd was asked a pretty simple question about WWE, and naturally he found the most Gabe Kidd way possible to answer it. Anyone hoping for a dream-match list from the AEW star definitely didn’t get one.
Kidd took to his Instagram Stories on November 2 and answered questions from fans, with one person asking whether there was anybody in WWE he would like to wrestle. His answer was short, brutal and very NSFW.
“None of em they’re all s***”
So much for fantasy booking. Kidd didn’t name any particular WWE star or offer an exception to the rule. Instead, he basically dismissed the entire roster in six words, which probably shouldn’t come as much of a surprise considering the way he has talked about WWE wrestlers in the past.
Back in April, Kidd suffered a nasty shoulder injury at AEW Dynasty that left him sidelined indefinitely. Afterwards, he posted a profanity-filled Instagram Story from his hotel room.
Kidd was furious with just about everybody that night, from the doctors and security to his opponents. WWE’s roster even caught a completely unsolicited stray while he was going off about who he planned to deal with once he returned.
“So I’m still gonna f*** everyone up, and then I’m gonna come back, and then it’s game over for everyone. F*** everyone that isn’t David Finlay, that isn’t Clark Connors or the Death Riders. F*** every other person in AEW. F*** all the WWE wrestlers, f*** the New Japan wrestlers.”
Seven months later, Kidd clearly hasn’t softened his opinion of WWE’s roster. Give him an opportunity to name somebody he wants to wrestle and apparently his answer is still nobody — just with a lot fewer words this time.
