Big Damo has found a new home in wrestling after his WWE run, and he’s headed straight into a major faction.
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Big Damo has signed with MLW. Fans will remember him from WWE and NXT, where he competed as Killian Dain as part of the Sanity group.
MLW sources confirmed the signing and said Damo will join the CONTRA faction. The company is planning to feature him as a major part of the new season of MLW Fusion.
Damo already has several appearances lined up. He’s scheduled for MLW tapings in Chattanooga on May 9, followed by New York on June 11, and Philadelphia on June 12 and June 13.
This signing is also part of a bigger plan for MLW. The company has been adding more European talent to the roster, including Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, and Wolfgang, and Damo fits right into that direction. After years in WWE and NXT, Big Damo now has a fresh opportunity to make an impact in MLW.
