Steph De Lander and Mance Warner appear to be heading back to AEW/ROH this week. The two have been pulled from an independent show after being called in for Saturday’s AEW Collision and ROH tapings in Reading, Pennsylvania.

New South Pro Wrestling took to Twitter and announced the change ahead of its Millbrook Reloaded event, revealing that De Lander and Warner will no longer be appearing because of the television opportunity.

“BREAKING: We have just been informed that both Mance Warner and SDL have been called to be at AEW Collision/ROH tapings this Saturday in Reading, PA, and will not be at Millbrook Reloaded.”

New South made it clear there were no hard feelings over the late change. The promotion isn’t interested in standing between either wrestler and an opportunity to appear on national television.

“We never want to get in the way of a pro wrestler’s career when it comes to national television opportunities and wish them the best of luck. You will see both Mance and SDL at New South Pro Wrestling as soon as it works for all parties!”

The promotion will now have to do some scrambling. De Lander had been scheduled to face Kelsey Raegan, while Warner was supposed to join Dump Sanders, Big Dave and Shean Christopher against The Program’s Tim Bosby, Jamesen Shook, Erron Wade and Kohnor Martin in the Atomic Warfare four-on-four Cage Match.

“We will be looking to replace Kelsey Raegan’s opponent, and we hope that Team New South (Dump Sanders, Big Dave, and Shean Christopher) can find a new 4th man ahead of the Atomic Warfare 4 vs 4 Cage Match against The Program’s Tim Bosby, Jamesen Shook, Erron Wade, and Kohnor Martin!!”

“We will keep everyone in the know as this story develops!”

De Lander was last seen on ROH on HonorClub on July 31, where she defeated Rachael Ellering in a Pure Rules match. Now she’s apparently being brought back less than three weeks later, although New South’s announcement doesn’t reveal whether she’ll be appearing for AEW, ROH or both.

Warner is also returning after appearing on the July 23 edition of ROH on HonorClub. He teamed with Alex Zayne that night in a losing effort against RPG Vice’s Rocky Romero and Trent Beretta.

Whatever AEW and ROH have planned, it was important enough to change both wrestlers’ weekend schedules. De Lander and Warner were supposed to be working Millbrook Reloaded on Saturday. Instead, they’re heading to Reading.
