BJ Ray didn’t stay quiet after Bronson Reed posted a message about younger wrestlers acting like veterans, and he fired back with some harsh words.
The situation started when Bronson Reed shared a message on Instagram that quickly made the rounds online. In the post, Reed called out wrestlers who he feels speak like veterans despite only being in the business a short time.
“MFers will be 2 years into the business talking like they are veterans. Sit TF down.”
Not long after that post spread online, former WWE LFG talent BJ Ray responded on social media and made it clear he wasn’t impressed with Reed’s take. Ray claimed that time in the business doesn’t always mean someone knows more than others.
“I conquered the business in less then 2 years. Him suggesting time = experience and knowledge shows low IQ.”
Ray didn’t stop there. He continued by taking shots at long-time wrestlers he believes haven’t proven much despite being around for years.
“I’ve met some guys who have been in the business 10+ years, and they should have been casted as the big fella in the goonies.”
He also suggested that insecurity plays a role in how some veterans treat newer talent, claiming that parts of the wrestling world are filled with people trying to gatekeep opportunities.
“If someone knows what they are talking about, then they know what they are talking about. This is a projection of insecurity due to the fragility of the male ego. Unfortunately this fragility runs deep in the wrestling world, a bunch of weirdo attention seekers gatekeeping the business in the office, jerking each other’s egos.”
Reed never named anyone directly in his original post, but Ray clearly felt the message applied to him and wasted no time responding. Now the exchange is getting attention online as fans debate who actually has the stronger point.
