Shelly Martinez knows exactly where she stands when it comes to money versus celebrity dates.
On June 20, the former ECW personality jumped into a viral social media question that asked users to choose between receiving $700,000 or going on a date with Kim Kardashian. Martinez did not hesitate with her answer.
“I’d take a hundee 😎 She’s lame.”
The post she was responding to posed the simple question:
“$700,000 or a date with Kim Kardashian?”
Martinez, who also worked for WWE as Ariel and spent time in TNA, made it clear that she would happily take the money and pass on spending an evening with the reality star. Her blunt response quickly got attention, especially the part where she called Kardashian “lame.”
Martinez has never exactly been known for holding back, and this time was no different. While some people might jump at the chance to go out with one of the most famous women in the world, Martinez apparently sees a six-figure payday as a much better deal. Considering the choice was between a one-time date and enough money to change someone’s life, it’s hard to blame her.
