The July 17 episode of WWE SmackDown went down at the MVP Arena in Albany, New York. One day later, Saturday Night’s Main Event invaded Madison Sqaure Garden, and that saw a big title change for the women’s division.
Fatal Influence has been trying hard to prove that they deserved a WWE main roster call-up since they broke onto the scene. Now, it is 100% guaranteed, because they are Women’s Tag Team Champions.
During Saturday Night’s Main Event, Paige and Brie Bella put their WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles on the line. Those belts were won at WrestleMania, but they were rarely defended.
There were some big moments during the match, and the MSG crowd was with it throughout. In the end, Fatal Influene was able to pull off the win and walk away as champions.
We will have to see what is next for Fatal Influence as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. This was certainly an amazing way to kick off Saturday Night’s Main Event for them.
