Giulia is helping WWE promote Clash in Italy, but fans are not letting the company off the hook for leaving her off the actual card.

The whole thing started when WWE posted a video of Giulia on Twitter, her to remind viewers to tune in for the show: “Couldn’t miss the message from @giulia0221g, who reminds you not to miss #WWEClash in Italy TOMORROW! 🇮🇹”

That did not sit well with a lot of fans. Giulia is half-Italian, speaks fluent Italian, and has openly talked about once working in her family’s restaurant, making her connection to the country impossible to ignore. Because of that, many were shocked WWE used her to sell the show while leaving her off the card entirely.

One fan went off on the company over the decision: “b**** ass company why tf did yall not book her then” Another fan called out the fact that Giulia is not just missing the PLE, but also the Italy live events around it: “Italian and absent from any show in Italy, including the two house shows… absurd”

A different fan accused WWE of using Giulia for promotion without giving her an actual spot on the show: “So yall can use her to promote the PLE, but yall can’t actually book her for the PLE 🫩” Another fan said WWE missed one of the easiest calls it could have made for the Italy event.

“Truly a shame not to have her compete at Clash In Italy! Sometimes the simplest things for big companies are the hardest to figure out. What a shame! WE WANT GIULIA❤️🇮🇹”

The frustration is easy to understand. WWE clearly knows Giulia has value for an Italy-based show, because the company used her voice and image to promote Clash in Italy. The issue is that fans wanted to see her wrestle there, not just appear in a video asking them to watch.

Now, instead of the focus staying only on the loaded Clash in Italy card, WWE is dealing with criticism over who isn’t on it. For many fans, leaving Giulia off an Italy show while still using her to promote it feels like a major missed opportunity.

Do you think WWE should have booked Giulia for Clash in Italy? Sound off in the comments and let us know what you think.
