The Liv Morgan impersonation scam story keeps getting nastier, and Scott Hyman just handed Ringside News another piece of the puzzle. After claiming people hiding behind Morgan’s identity took him for more than $104,000, Hyman has now supplied screenshots showing an account saved as Liv Morgan’s real name, Gionna Daddio, desperately trying to convince him that the relationship was real.
The new material comes after Hyman contacted Ringside News following our coverage of another man who claims Liv Morgan impersonators took him for $35,500. Hyman previously provided a spreadsheet totaling $104,151.28, along with account information, alleged payment methods and personalized videos from people he says were pretending to be Morgan.
The newest screenshot gets straight into the emotional manipulation. The WhatsApp contact is saved under “Gionna Daddio,” and the person behind it pushes back after Hyman apparently questioned whether the woman he had been talking to was even real. The account told him not to call her imaginary and insisted that her feelings were genuine.
“I understand what you’re saying and i know the nurse is only doing her job and taking care of you❤️ But please don’t call me imaginary…..I’m real my love for you is real and my feelings for you are real. I may not be there physically right now to help you the way she can but that doesn’t mean i don’t care or that I’m not thinking about you.”
Then came another dose of the romance angle. The account joked about nurses Hyman might date before reminding him that his “girl” supposedly loved him.
“And as for those nurses you’d date, haha, I’m going to pretend I didn’t hear that part. 😘 Just let them take good care of you, and remember your girl loves you and wants you feeling better❤️”
That screenshot fits the same playbook Hyman says was used on him over and over — make the relationship feel personal, make him believe he is talking to the real woman behind the WWE character, then keep the money moving.
Hyman also gave Ringside News a much more detailed breakdown of what he says happened. He claims nearly every entry on the $104,151.28 spreadsheet was tied to accounts presenting themselves as Liv Morgan or using Gionna Daddio’s name, with only a small number allegedly connected to an Alexa Bliss impersonator.
He says the scam started before Morgan’s shoulder injury and eventually spread across a ridiculous number of payment methods and messaging apps. According to Hyman, the people contacting him moved between Cash App, gift cards and Bitcoin while talking to him through Signal, Telegram, WhatsApp, Google Chat, Zangi and other platforms.
Hyman claims the requests came dressed up as everything from everyday expenses to much bigger emergencies. He says there were asks involving food, new phones, clothing, travel and even thousands of dollars tied to stories about personal problems and future plans.
The alleged con also appears to have fed off things Hyman was seeing on real social media. He says that whenever something online contradicted what the impersonator was telling him, another explanation would suddenly appear to keep the fantasy alive.
At one point, Hyman says he sent $1,000 around Morgan’s birthday, only to later see social media activity that didn’t match what he had been told privately. He claims the account then explained away relationships and other public appearances by telling him what he was seeing online was connected to contracts and that the person posing as Morgan still wanted to be with him.
That lines up with the personalized videos Hyman previously gave Ringside News. In one clip, the woman speaking directly to him claimed to be the “real Liv Morgan” and warned him to block other people pretending to be her. The video told Hyman that everyone else was supposedly the fake.
“Hello, Scott Hyman. I know you have been through a lot just to reach me and I am so sorry for all you have been through just because of me. I just want to let you know I am the real live, Morgan. And in case you come across anyone claiming to be me, I want you to block and report them to me, my love.”
A second video went even further, promising Hyman that the two of them would eventually be together while claiming a mysterious “task force” would recover everything he had lost. The woman told him she loved him while dangling the promise that his missing money would somehow come back.
“Good morning, Scott. Okay. I was so tired last night and my drugs make me dizzy. I really appreciate you and everything you’ve been doing just to get to me. OK, I promise you I will make it up to you by next week. By that, I will be doing very well. Regardless we will be together and everything you lost. So those suckers will be recovered back by the task force. ¿OK? I love you, Scott. Bless your hymen.”
Hyman says the pressure eventually got so bad that he changed his phone number, deleted chat apps and started blocking accounts because his phone was constantly blowing up with new people claiming to be Liv Morgan. Even after doing that, he says the contact continued through other apps and accounts.
He told Ringside News that he still has saved chats, videos, photographs, Bitcoin records and gift-card history connected to the alleged scheme. He also says the most recent communication involved another WhatsApp account and that he is determined to keep talking publicly about what happened.
Nothing Hyman has supplied suggests the real Liv Morgan was involved in any of this. The entire allegation centers on people using her name, likeness and real-life details to convince him that he had a private relationship with the WWE star.
Morgan has warned fans about this exact kind of garbage before. Ringside News previously covered Liv Morgan warning fans about fake accounts using her identity, while another man previously claimed a scammer using Morgan’s name cost him his home.
Hyman’s story surfaced shortly after Ringside News covered the Pennsylvania man who lost $42,700 to someone pretending to be Rhea Ripley. Since then, two separate people have come directly to Ringside News with their own Liv Morgan impersonation claims involving tens of thousands of dollars.
The full $104,151.28 total remains Hyman’s claimed loss while Ringside News continues reviewing the material he has provided. What keeps getting harder to ignore is how elaborate the operation became — multiple accounts, different payment methods, constant platform hopping, personalized videos and now messages literally telling a skeptical target, “I’m real my love.”
This wasn’t a scammer tossing up a Liv Morgan profile picture and hoping somebody would send a gift card. Hyman says someone built an entire relationship around Morgan’s identity, kept inventing explanations whenever reality got in the way and continued telling him the love was real while his money disappeared.
