A piece of wrestling history is officially on the market, and this one comes with a pretty unique past. The longtime Columbia, South Carolina property once belonging to WWE Hall of Famer The Fabulous Moolah has been listed for sale with a $224,900 asking price.

The property at 101 Moolah Drive covers 9.11 acres and is being marketed as a waterfront development opportunity. According to the Realtor.com listing, the land sits on a private peninsula surrounded by two private ponds and includes mature hardwoods, pine trees and a scenic causeway. The listing specifically leans into the property’s wrestling history, noting that it was Moolah’s longtime home.

“Adding to its uniqueness, this was the longtime home of legendary professional wrestler and WWE Hall of Famer The Fabulous Moolah, giving the property a distinctive place in Columbia history.”

There’s plenty more history on the land beyond Moolah’s connection to it. The property previously contained two three-bedroom, two-bathroom homes overlooking the pond along with six efficiency residences, although those residential structures have since been removed.

That leaves the buyer with what the listing describes as a “blank canvas” for redevelopment. The property is zoned R-5 with public water and sewer available, while three storage buildings remain on the land and are being sold as-is.

The listing pitches several potential uses for whoever decides to take it on, including a private estate, family compound, boutique residential development or investment project, subject to the necessary zoning and approvals. It is also located roughly five minutes from Fort Jackson and offers access to I-20, I-77 and downtown Columbia.

The 9.11-acre property is currently listed for $224,900 by Alecia Porter and brokered by NorthGroup Real Estate LLC. While the buildings associated with its earlier residential use are gone, the Moolah Drive address and the land itself still carry a connection to one of the most recognizable and controversial figures from women’s wrestling history.

For wrestling collectors, developers or somebody who simply wants a hell of a conversation starter attached to their address, this is certainly not the average real-estate listing. Moolah’s former home may no longer be standing, but the property’s wrestling history is now being used as part of the pitch to find its next owner.

Would you ever consider buying a property because of its connection to wrestling history, or is $224,900 too much for what is essentially a redevelopment opportunity? Let us know what you think in the comments.
