More than a year after her last match, Zoey Serrano is officially back in the ring—and she wasted no time reminding fans exactly what she can do.
Competing in RevPro’s Women’s Grand Prix on July 25, the former WWE star made her long-awaited in-ring return for the first time since May 2025, picking up a victory over Zeuxis in the tournament’s opening round.
That wasn’t the end of her night. After advancing out of her first match, Serrano returned later in the day for the tournament’s second show, where she squared off against JGU as her comeback continued.
Considering she hadn’t competed since suffering the devastating knee injury that eventually required ACL, MCL and meniscus surgery, there were plenty of questions about how she’d look after such a long layoff. By the end of the day, those concerns had largely disappeared.
Serrano moved with the same intensity and physical style that made her stand out during her WWE run, showing little sign of the injury that kept her out of action for well over a year. For someone stepping back into the ring for the first time since May 2025, it looked as though she hadn’t missed a beat.
The RevPro appearance also marked Serrano’s first matches since her WWE release earlier this year. After spending several months recovering from her knee injury before ultimately being let go by the company, the Women’s Grand Prix gave her the opportunity to begin the next run of her career—and she made the most of it with a solid return.
